The Cloister, designed by world-renowned artist Robert Santo, is a sacred space of prayer and reflection which includes architecture, statuary, fountains, and beautiful gardens.
This sacred space consists of ten courts that were designed to inspire meditation and prayer: The Court of the Patriarchs, The Court of Moses, The Court of the Kings, The Court of the Prophets, The Court of Joy, The Court of Light, The Court of Sorrow, The Court of Glory, and The Court of New Creation--including a Marian Shrine.
The Cloister was designed to be a place of pilgrimage for all Christians and for anyone seeking a place of prayer, inspiration, and peace; as well as a place to more deeply encounter the living God.
Columbarium means "a resting place for the dove." The Columbarium cemetery within the Cloister is a consecrated Catholic cemetery.
A columbarium niche is a 12"x12"x12" stone box where an urn containing cremated remains rests. Two urns may be placed within one niche to provide for loved ones who wish to be together. The Columbarium Cemetery within the Cloister provides a final resting place that follows the early Christian tradition of burials occurring on church grounds.
What better place to remember those we have known and loved than on church grounds within the Cloister, where our lives are sheltered under the wings of God's abiding love.
The Cloister also houses the Memorial Walls: walls of glass whereupon the names of loved ones are inscribed. Spaces are still available.
