St. Patrick's Master Plan Throughout the years, St. Patrick’s Parish has served the Catholic faithful well through sacramental celebrations, religious education, and community outreach. In order to continue to fully support our community’s needs, we must renovate our parish grounds and facilities. After much deliberation and input from parishioners at countless meetings over a seven year period, we will execute this task by implementing a master plan, which targets specific parish needs through multiple phases. Phase I: The Cloister Phase I of our master plan entails the construction of a beautifully designed courtyard, called The Cloister, to physically and spiritually connect our parish facilities. The Cloister provides handicap-accessible and covered walkways with covered curbside pick-up and drop-off. It includes areas to bury loved ones in columbarium niches and to remember loved ones on memorial walls. It also includes a Marian Shrine and a variety of other sacred spaces for groups and individuals both to congregate and to pray. In the Fall of 2010, we embarked on the Building Our Faith: A Spiritual Journey Campaign to raise the funds necessary to begin Phase I: The Cloister. The total estimated cost of construction is $2.6 million. As of January 21, 2011, $1,425,872 has been pledged through the generosity of parishioners and friends of St. Patrick’s Parish. If you are interested in helping us
reach our total construction costs, please make a pledge or gift to
our campaign! Phase I will also include the replacement of the roof of our parish hall, the renovation of the entire western wall of the hall, and other necessary hall repairs. Phase II: Total Renovation of the Parish Hall Renovation of the parish hall includes handicap-accessible bathrooms, additional meeting rooms and storage, more flexible use of the existing hall’s floor space, an expanded, multi-use stage area and kitchen updates. This renovated space will provide increased meeting areas for faith formation classes and other parish ministries. Phase III: The Parish Office Expansion and renovation of our existing Parish Office building will provide a more suitable office area for our parish staff and meeting space for our Deacons and Pastor. The renovation includes a youth center and additional faith formation classrooms, and the building will be handicap-accessible. Additional Projects: Church Additions Additions to our church, which include a multi-use choir room, a dedicated nursery, faith formation space and sacramental space, are also needed. It is our hope to incorporate these pieces of the master plan into one or more of the aforementioned phases. |
